Reiki and Art

Reiki has been a part of my life since I was a child. Reiki is a way to channel universal energy to heal the body, mind and soul. It is a subtle energy practice that provides the healing the body needs at the appropriate time and manner. My parents were both trained in Usui Reiki. As a child if I did not feel well physically or emotionally, my mom would practice on me and I always felt lighter and calmer afterwards. As an adult, Reiki has played an important role in my own healing journey. As a Reiki practitioner, I love working with others as I share this healing gift with them.

In addition to using Reiki in my healing sessions, I also incorporate sound healing with the use of tuning forks and singing bowls. Sound is a powerful tool that assists the healing process when used intentionally. With tuning forks, including vibro-tuners that are used directly on the body, and sound bowls, the tones and vibrations balance the energies of the body and facilitate healing. Vibro-tuners can be placed on the body to stimulate acupuncture points and the body’s meridians to improve the flow of the energy in the body for one’s overall health.
