Root Chakra

The root chakra, also known as the Muladhara, is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the color red. It is considered to be the foundation of all the chakras and is associated with feelings of grounding and security. This chakra is said to govern the connection to the physical body and the earth, and is associated with the sense of smell. Imbalances in the root chakra can manifest as feelings of insecurity, fear, or anxiety. Activating and balancing the root chakra through practices such as yoga, meditation, and aromatherapy is said to bring a sense of stability and grounding to one’s life
