  • I can and I choose…. (journal excerpt)

    8/30/2022 – Libra Moon – Waxing Crescent

I am an advanced soul who has lived many incarnations. I am working with my Higher Self to integrate the wisdom from many experiences and lifetimes so nothing is lost and all enhanced. I am in a process of spiritual weaving and integration at a soul level now. As I integrate the new I am also graciously letting go of what no longer serves me. My soul light shines bright through the space created. I am moving past the 3-D illusions put in place dictating “can” and “can’t.” I embrace the 5-D reality of “I can” and “I choose.” There is no can’t – we can do anything we choose. The secret is in the choice.

I choose better today. My focus is to make better – more informed, more guided, more infused with Spirit and Soul – choices today. As my dad says, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest until your good is your better and your better is your best.” I am expanding my awareness and learning the lessons I am here to learn. I am integrating and healing past life patterns into a new expression now. I now choose to honor, forgive, accept and love all that I have ever been. I now choose, for my highest good, to open and surrender to the wisdom of my own soul growth, bring into the present lifetime that which has served me in the past if it will serve my highest good again now, through my own free will. So be it!

I see the light in my own darkness. I face my ego beliefs to feel free. I am cutting off my ego beliefs about the concept of “can’t.” The power of choice rests within me.

Every morning, I pull oracle cards from a few of my favorite decks and then record my impressions and thoughts in my journal. I have never shared my journal writing publicly or with another before, despite having humored it in the past. Today, the realization of “can’t” being an illusion and how we truly can do anything, felt important to share.

We are told we can’t do things from an early age. And from that early age, whenever I was told I couldn’t do something, that is exactly what I wanted to do. For better or worse, I usually found a way as well. What I have noticed is the more I focus on what I can’t do, the more it becomes an obsession. It’s like being told I can’t have chocolate cake for whatever reason, and all of a sudden I want chocolate cake. When I remove the notion of being limited or not allowed, and I focus on the choice then I am empowering myself. When I empower myself, I make better choices for me. And if I have the cake despite the gluten content, I have an opportunity to make a better choice tomorrow and skip it! Or I can realize, I really don’t like chocolate cake! I can make better choices that serve my highest interest. I remove the obsession over being limited or told I can’t do something. I can live my truth and feel more free. And who doesn’t want to feel more free?

To the Reader: My intention in sharing is that you may find a nugget of information (light) in my words that will further spark your journey. Thank you! ♥️

  • Mandala for Living our Highest Timeline

This mandala was created as a personal piece to acknowledge my growth and support further transformation. I have been reading and listening to a lot of Thich Nhat Han lately, including his book No Mud, No Lotus. One of the Buddhist principles is that there is suffering. We all experience and go through suffering at different levels throughout our life and that enables us to experience greater depths of joy, love and compassion. Just as the lotus flower needs the mud in order to bloom, I have gone through great challenges which have shaped who I am today.

The center of the mandala has the alchemical symbol of the philosopher’s stone of a circle in a square in a triangle in a circle. The philosopher’s stone is a symbol of transmutation as it is said to transform base metals, like lead, into gold. As I began to draw this symbol, I started visualizing placing all of my lower frequency energy, thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior into the center circle so it could be transmuted into the higher frequencies of love, compassion and wisdom. In other words, I am taking my base emotions and feelings and transforming them into gold. As the lower energies are transmuted, they become the seeds that give life to new flowers. This is represented by the small brown circles surrounding the center circle.

The next layers of the mandala consist of green leaves along with pink and light rose-colored flowers. The green leaves represent growth and healing. The pink flowers are for compassion and the rose colored flowers are for love. Every day I continue to grow and heal. I am grateful for the healing energies of nature that support my growth and my ability to regenerate. All of my experiences have led me to deeper levels of compassion and love for myself as well as others in my life and in the world. Each day, I focus on how I can show more compassion and more love to myself and others. Oftentimes the greatest challenge is showing compassion and love to myself, but with this intention and regular practice it has become easier. I have noticed the more love and compassion I show myself, the easier it is to do the same for others. I have more patience and am not as reactive as my sensitive nature has typically been.

The next layer has a series of the Usui Reiki symbols Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki. The first symbol, Cho Ku Rei, is a symbol for physical healing as well as cleansing, activation and protection. Using the Cho Ku Rei symbol creates an armor of light that will cleanse and stimulate the activation of chakras in the body, boost energy and overall mood while removing fatigue, create strong protection for the energetic and physical body, as well as remove energetic blockages, residual energies and other negative influences. Sei He Ki is for emotional and mental healing as it opens dimensions, creates harmony and provides healing and balancing of the energetic body. The symbol, Sei He Ki, also assists with breaking undesirable habits as our lives are directly influenced by our mental energy fields. Combining both symbols is powerful for healing and transmutation. The first one, Cho Ku Rei, helps us open and release all residual lower energy while allowing the positive, universal energy to enter. The second one supports the mental and emotional levels by bringing imbalances to the surface to be healed in a harmonious way. I work with both symbols daily in my practice as a Reiki Master, and I have found the combination of the two most appropriate for the healing intentions of my mandala.

The morning that I began this piece, I drew the Gold and Silver Violet Flame Dragon from my Diana Cooper’s Dragon Oracle Cards. The gold and silver violet flame dragon “transmutes the old around you with wisdom and grace.” Gold holds the energy of the Divine Masculine and qualities of wisdom, knowledge and strength. Silver has the energy of the Divine Feminine and qualities of love, compassion and grace. The outer borders of the different mandala layers have gold and silver to draw these energies into the mandala. The outer design is representative of the violet flame of transmutation. If you look closely at the oracle card you can also see where I was inspired to incorporate the philosopher’s stone symbol in the center of my mandala.

That same morning I drew the Archangel Mariel oracle card from Diana Cooper’s Archangel Oracle Cards. Archangel Mariel works closely with the Magenta Flame of Divine Feminine Love and supports us in manifesting with the highest good and working with pure love. The outer circles of my mandala are filled with a deep magenta to draw this energy into the piece as well.

I finished this piece on the day of the Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse on May 16, 2022. The energy of this time assists us with bringing our awareness to what’s lingering in the shadows and offering us opportunities for deeper self-knowledge. My mandala helps support me as I let go of old emotional patterns, old security attachments, and old ways of being, as I allow the process of further transformation to happen. The goal is for me to live my highest timeline and serve my purpose here on Earth at this time. My hopes in sharing this piece are that the energy and intention support you on your journey as well.

  • Everything is Energy

    energy

Everything is energy. We are all made up of energy. Emotions, feelings, colors, chakras, our environment, music… It is all energy. With the mindset of everything being energy, visualizing and focusing on the release of the lower energy and transmuting it to a high vibration has been effective in healing. There is light and dark in each of us, as there is light and dark in all aspects of the world and universe. We all experience wounds or energy compressions as a result of interactions with others. To foster and increase the light, focus on releasing the energy around the situation. It’s often been stated that “hurt people hurt people.” Finding compassion for the person and releasing the energy frees us and allows us to ascend more gracefully. We all need healing and just like an onion, there is always another layer.

Through our own experiences, we experience the highs and the lows so we can recognize the different aspects and foster appreciation. If we never know heartache and despair, how can we fully appreciate compassion, love and comfort?

Being mindful of our own energy helps us see how we affect and impact others. Being mindful of other’s energy helps us see how their energy impacts us. When we choose to take responsibility for our energy and raise the vibration, it has a ripple effect that positively impacts the people around us. It is a constant practice to be mindful and actively choose the type and quality of energy that we produce and share with others.

Practicing breathwork, yoga, meditation and simply slowing down are excellent ways to develop mindfulness. One of the things that I love is that these practices can be incorporated throughout the day. Whether I am at work sitting in a meeting or in front of the computer, I can take a few moments to focus on my breath. Long slow inhales through my nose, long slow exhales through my nose. I can breath in slowly counting to 4, I exhale slowly counting backwards from 4. I increase the length of the inhales and the exhales. I visualize love filling my body with my inhale, I visualize love radiating out of my body with my exhale. I can incorporate yoga stretch breaks through out my day and I can carve out time in the morning for a daily yoga practice. I can sit and do a traditional meditation or I can go outside and do a walking meditation as I drink in the beauty of the trees, flowers and birds in the neighborhood. As I slow down and develop more awareness, I can see how my energy improves positively impacting all around me and all I do. With every breath, every heartbeat, I have the power of choice and I choose to make it a positive one.

  • Blossoming Mandala

The center of the mandala is a reflective ball, reminding us that we are all reflections of each other. The center petals have a pale pink middle with light lavender around the edges. The pale pink is for compassion and love, with lavender for higher consciousness. The green leaves bring in the healing properties of nature. The bright yellows encourage wisdom and courage. The violet and purple petals are for transmuting the old energies that no longer serve us and welcoming in more love and light. The outer blue is for the element of water reminding us to go with the flow and providing us with the cleansing, renewal energy that assists us with purification and new beginnings.

  • Sei Hei Ki Reiki Mandala for Emotional and Mental Healing
    seiheiki reiki symbol

The symbol, Sei Hei Ki, is used for emotional and mental healing in the Usui Reiki tradition. This symbol is at the center of the healing mandala. The colors and patterns used were intentionally selected to assist in emotional and mental healing.

The outer ribbon pattern that acts as a border to this beautiful mandala is made up of a series of hearts. Love heals all and has the power to solve all issues. The radiating hearts are a reminder of all the love that is available to us, as well as all of the love that exists within us and an invitation to tap into that love.

The pale pink was chosen to draw in Quan Yin energy of compassion and love.

The shades of violet were chosen for Archangel Zadkiel, St. Germain and the Violet Consuming Flame that helps transmute lower frequency energy.

Bright yellow was chosen to draw in the energy of Archangel Uriel that is of wisdom, truth and strength.

The shades of teals were for the nurturing healing energies of the Divine Feminine and Archangel Mary.

The greens and brown are to bring in the healing energies of Mother Earth and the nature elements that help heal and support us on a daily basis.

Invitation: You are invited and encouraged to color your own Sei Hei Ki healing mandala. Feel free to use colors I have chosen, or whatever colors you are drawn to. Trust your intuition. Whatever you choose will be the right colors for you. As you color, take relaxing deep breaths in through the nose and out through the nose. Focus on the mental and emotional healing you would like to experience and transmuting any lower energies from your body.
