The heart chakra, also known as the Anahata, is located in the center of the chest and is associated with the color green. It is associated with love, compassion, and empathy. This chakra governs our ability to love and connect with others, as well as our capacity for forgiveness and self-love. Imbalances in the heart chakra can manifest as feelings of loneliness, heartache, or anger. To balance and activate the heart chakra, one can practice yoga postures, meditation, and visualization techniques, use certain essential oils, and engage in acts of kindness and selfless service. Activities such as therapy, journaling, and spending time in nature can also be helpful in balancing the heart chakra.
